Argentine Wine and wine consumption are an important part of our culture. WE are very proud of our wines and the growing wine industry in Argentina. I remember my grandfather sending me to the store to get wine and a siphon of soda water while my grandma prepared her famous ñoqui a´la bolognesa. In those days, I would have to bring the empty bottle to get a full one. The wines my grandpa drank had silly names like TORO (bull) or CRESPI. He would always splash it with a burst of soda water. If it was summer he would add ice.

Christmas and New Year is an exciting time for tourists in Buenos Aires. That is why here at Buenos Aires Experience we stay open throughout the festive period. Our offices are also open throughout January, when most other Argentines pack up for their summer holiday.
Walking your way around Buenos Aires is by far the best way to discover our great Metropolis. Nowadays, the traffic in Buenos Aires is just horrible during the week. It is often blocked by people rallying or forming a “piquete”, and camping on Avenida de Mayo is not unheard of either (although it’s hardly what we call glamping!). So being stuck in a car that restricts your view, or travelling en-masse in a hot stuffy bus, struggling to hear your guide, is not the way to explore…
So, for those of you deciding to spend Christmas in Argentina- you have made an excellent choice. Enjoy all this and more with Buenos Aires Experience’s tailor-made festive tours. This season we won’t only be doing our classic private tours of the city but also some group tours of Buenos Aires and the province. Big groups of us will get together for cruises along the Delta and parrillas on the beach where we’ll pump out sounds, eat wonderful meat and seafood parrillas accompanied by carefully chosen vino tinto and vino blanco to wash away your inhibitions and get you Christmas partying Porteno-style. Keep an eye out on the blog over the next few days for our up-and-coming summer tours from Christmas into the New Year… MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM ME AND ALL THE STAFF AT BUENOS AIRES EXPERIENCE
